Legs in perfect shape

Every woman who ever has felt no need to explain what it means to have the "heavy legs." The phrase sums up exactly the feeling that goes from simple discomfort to pain, and seems to concentrate all the kilos of the body from the waist down.

- A bomb in a struggle against gravity. The heart is the organ responsible for pumping blood effectively from head to toe, so as to nurture every corner of the body. However, when the precious liquid has to undertake the journey back from the lower extremities, is forced to go uphill, fighting against the law of gravity. To achieve this, we have a "muscle pump" to push the blood upward and which is activated by walking or contract the muscles of the legs. However, when we stand and sit, the pump stops and the blood tends to pool in the lower compartments. To help this mechanism we have valves in the veins that hold back this fall, but that may be in poor condition, further encouraging stagnation. The result? Poor venous circulation and the consequences resulting therefrom. To avoid these problems and how to solve them, we have had the experience of Dr. Law

- The enemies of the beauty of your legs. Good or malfunction of the venous circulatory system is determined partly by genetics, but there are factors that may cause or exacerbate serious challenges
- A sedentary lifestyle and spend many hours standing in one place.
- Being overweight and constipation.
- The direct heat on the legs. If you have venous insufficiency, avoid sunbathing, hot wax, legs shelter next to a radiator, saunas and sun beds.
- The tight clothing such as jeans, tight stockings, girdles, etc.
- The long rest periods, pregnancy and hormonal treatments.

- Prevention is assumed. The best way to avoid these problems is to take care the circulatory functioning of the venous circulatory system. This should be avoided to the extent of possible risk factors above, together with measures to promote health, such as activating the "natural pump" often, either walking or doing something as simple as moving the ankle top to bottom, with a gesture of pedaling. Sports, especially swimming, is very good, but still should be avoided which are of impact, such as football, karate or judo. If you can, keep your feet up, but always at a level above the heart (to overcome gravity, remember?), and the showers always finish with cold water, directing the jet of the ankles to the waist. It's hard but worth it. Another useful measure is the use of compression stockings, which cause a constant massage very effective.

- Cosmetics, an ally cool. While circulatory disorders should be treated by the specialist, when only the legs feel uncomfortable, either by heat, a hard day or even something as enjoyable as a day of sightseeing, we have the help of cosmetics to relieve that feeling of heaviness at once. Need to recover after a difficult day? Soak your feet in cold water for ten minutes, moving as if pedaling ankles in an old sewing machine. Dry carefully and apply a cream refreshing as the above from the toes to the waist and place your feet as high as possible. For example, you can lie on the bed on several pillows or even on the wall: it is important to always be higher than the heart. Rest a while and encouragement! Surely at least feel something lighter.
